Long-running Winnipeggers the Paperbacks aren't very good at doing things in small runs. The indie rock quartet recently released Lit From Within, a sprawling, 32-song double album on Parliament of Trees. Now, they're following it up with a 19-date Canadian tour.
The run of shows kicks off with a little warm-up in Winnipeg on May 14. Then, starting on June 1 the band get serious about Canada, spending the month in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Alberta. There are gaps in the dates, so don't be surprised if Saskatchewan and British Columbia fill up with some tour dates as well.
In case you missed it, Lit From Within tracks "Perpetual Autumn" and "A Dizzy Chain of Bees" were made available as free downloads in our Click Hear section earlier this week.
