Panda Bear's New Solo Album Gets Title and September Release
Besides running things as a member of Animal Collective, Noah "Panda Bear" Lennox has had similar critical acclaim for his solo project. The last we heard from him, he was planning his third solo album, which he promised would be "a lot darker" in tone. Now, we're happy to report that the album has a title and loose release date.

According to Gorilla vs. Bear, Panda Bear's publicist has confirmed that the upcoming record will be called Tomboy. They also revealed that the album will be released in September via AC's own Paw Tracks imprint.

Little else is known about the record, though a number of new tracks have been performed live over the last little while. To see Panda Bear perform two new tracks from a show in Belgium earlier this month, see the video below.
