Remember how Panda Bear's new album was tentatively going to be called Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper? Well, it now seems like it's called Panda Bear Vs. the Grim Reaper — or at least that's the impression we get from the newly launched PBVSGR.com, which contains a new mixtape.
The website is a little disorienting, since there's no text or proper formatting. The top half of the site is devoted to psychedlic swirls of colour and computerized sonic detritus. But if you scroll down (to the part with the black and white lines that spell out "PBVSGR," as seen above), you'll hear a 40-minute mixtape of music with wonky, wobbly beats and futuristically bleary synths.
