Panda Bear released his outstanding album Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper this month, and now the Animal Collective member known as Noah Lennox has documented many of those songs in live form. His set from last year's Red Bull Music Academy Festival New York has been released, and it consists almost entirely of the fresh material.
The 80-minute set contains 13 songs, the bulk of which come from Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper and its accompanying Mr Noah EP. There's also the unreleased track "Jabberwocky" plus a couple of cuts from the prior LP Tomboy.
