The Pains of Being Pure at Heart Get Twin Shadow, Saint Etienne, Washed Out for Record Store Day Remix EP

It's been a relatively quiet year so far for the Pains of Being Pure at Heart, but the Brooklyn indie pop crew just announced that they'll be giving their fans something to get excited about in the form of a remix EP for Record Store Day on April 21.

Curiously titled Acid Reflex, the EP contains four tracks, all of which are remixes of tracks from last year's Belong. The band have rustled up reworks courtesy of Twin Shadow (with his previously released take on "Heart in Your Heartbreak"), Violens, Saint Etienne (remixing the Pains for a second time) and Washed Out.

The EP is scheduled to come out on vinyl through the UK label Play It Again Sam. While we don't yet know if it will be available in North American stores, fans can stream the entire thing right now in the embedded player below.

Acid Reflex:

1. Heart In Your Heartbreak (Twin Shadow Remix)
2. The Body (Violens Remix)
3. Too Tough (Saint Etienne Remix)
4. My Terrible Friend (Washed Out Remix)
