The Pains of Being Pure At Heart Announce More North American Dates

Indie pop darlings and current Exclaim! faves the Pains of Being Pure at Heart have announced they're extending their road show. Following a few SXSW performances, the Brooklyn foursome have marked several new stops on their tour calendar, swinging through a fresh batch of U.S. cities and returning to Toronto April 28 for an encore performance.

And, really, if any album deserved some more live supporting dates, it's the Pains' self-titled debut, a record we called "one of the strongest slabs of noise pop in recent memory." We also recently caught the group's last Toronto show back in February, which easily lived up to the high standards being set by big-ups from the press and that ever-powerful internet hype-cycle.
