Following the reveal of "sleepdrone/superposition" earlier this year, Minneapolis MC P.O.S has detailed the long-awaited follow-up for 2012's We Don't Even Live Here. Titled Chill, dummy, the new disc arrives at the tail end of January.
For the new album, P.O.S has got contributions from Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, as well as Kathleen Hanna, Astronautalis, Allan Kingdom, Open Mike Eagle, Busdriver, Lazerbeak and Ryan Olson, across its 12 tracks. A press release describes the record as P.O.S's "most bold, honest, and daring work to date."
Along with the announcement comes new track "Lanes," with P.O.S riding over top of the waltzing beat with ease.
Chill, dummy will arrive on January 27 through P.O.S's own Doomtree Records, with pre-orders available now. You can find the record's tracklist, the rapper's North American tour dates (which include some shows here in Canada) and "Lanes" below.
