In addition of having to cope with the "End" of Black Sabbath, metal frontman Ozzy Osbourne is also coming to grips with a sex addiction that has shaken up his personal life and longtime marriage to Sharon Osbourne.

"Over the last six years, I have been dealing with a sex addiction," Ozzy said in a statement today (August 3). "I am mortified at what my behaviour has done to my family. I thank God that my incredible wife Sharon is at my side to support me."

The Osbourne's sex life has been in the press this year after it had been leaked that Ozzy had been having an affair hair stylist Michelle Pugh, a relationship People said had been going on for four years. After this went public in the spring, the singer moved out of the family home, while Sharon Osbourne discussed the matter on her talk show, The Talk.

Pugh had publicly called Ozzy the "greatest love of my life," but judging by Osbourne's statement, the relationship with Pugh is over. It was also one of many extramarital affairs the singer had taken on over the years.

"I'm sorry if Ms. Pugh took our sexual relationship out of context," he said. "I'd also like to apologize to the other women I have been having sexual relationships with. Out of the bad comes good. Since the press exposed this, I have gone into intense therapy."

As TMZ reports, Pugh has also just filed a lawsuit against Ozzy's daughter Kelly Osbourne for being "slut-shamed, bullied and harassed." In the lawsuit, Pugh admitted to the affair but said she was not the cause of Ozzy and Sharon's split, adding that she's been she's been emotionally damaged and lost business as a celebrity stylist.

While Ozzy Osbourne is currently dealing with his sex addiction, his tour schedule with Black Sabbath starts up again at the end of the month. More info on the dates can be found here.
