Polaris Prize winner Owen Pallett headlined the Exclaim!/Sonic Unyon 20th Anniversary Stage at this year's Supercrawl. He began his set with a solo rendition of Scandal at the Parkade from his 2010 EP A Swedish Love Story.
Pallett may be playing alone for this song, but his violin speaks volumes. He loops the instrument and switches effects pedals on and off making it sound like there are multiple musicians on stage with him. It's quite the experience to watch Pallett perform on his own, but he now tours with a backing band, who quickly joined him on stage after.
