Our Lady Peace Give 'Clumsy' First-Ever Vinyl Release

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 15, 2016

In addition to their forthcoming dates with the reunited I Mother Earth, '90s CanCon alt-rock outfit Our Lady Peace's upcoming plans now include the first-ever vinyl pressing of their 1997 sophomore release, Clumsy. Vinyl junkies can bring this release home on November 26 via SRCVinyl.

A pre-order listing explains that while Clumsy had been a big seller for the band, it had only arrived on cassette and CD in the '90s. To quote "Superman's Dead," that's "just not good enough today." The upcoming wax edition was mastered specifically for vinyl, with lacquers cut by Kevin Gray. The record appears on "gold with smoke"-coloured vinyl, and will be packaged together with a 12-page booklet.

The vinyl pressing adds no bonus material, preferring to preserve the nearly 20-year-old album as is.
