Ottawa's MEGAPHONO festival is set to enter its third year of action in the nation's capital, taking place from February 1 to 3. Today (December 20) organizers have unveiled the first round of artists that will take the stage as part of the fest's 2017 edition.
Leading the first announcement are Ottawa party punks New Swears, along with Bry Webb, Steve Adamyk Band, Her Harbour, Scattered Clouds, Pony Girl, Petra Glynt, Safia Nolin, Partner, She-Devils, Un Blonde, Bonnie Doon, Heavy Medicine Band and Blakdenim.
That's not all, however, as also included in the first announcement are the Reverb Syndicate, Minotaurs, Dan Misha Goldman, Lonely Parade, Mike Dubue, Catriona Sturton, H de Heutz, I.D.A.L.G., Man Made Hill, Trails, Amanda Lowe, Claude Munson, Trevor Alguire, Twin Flames, Cedric Noel, Best Fern, Dark Plains, Cody Coyote, Expanda Fuzz, Ghost Vines, Scary Bear Soundtrack, Lovecraft, Mushy Gushy, Coastal Pigs, Old Man Grant, Mark Fossen, Telecomo, Dear Blackwolf, November, Lucila Al Mar, La Colonie, Malak, Atherton, Lucas Haneman Express, the Ramblin' Valley Band and Novusolis.
Festival passes are available now in two different tiers: a basic Festival Pass can be had for the early bird price of $50, while a Delegate Pass gives the holder access to day-time and night-time programming, speed meetings, panels and networking events for an early bird price of $99.
