Osheaga Reveals 2014 Lineup with Outkast, Jack White, Lorde, Modest Mouse, Replacements

The folks behind Montreal's Osheaga festival got fans to guess this year's lineup via an inventive mural, and now they've confirmed the names of the artists who will be playing the 2014 instalment of the event.

The show takes place from August 1 to 3 at Parc Jean-Drapeau. The bill is hugely stacked, and performers include Outkast, Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, Skrillex, Lorde, the Replacements, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Foster the People, Modest Mouse, Four Tet, J. Cole, Lykke Li, Childish Gambino, Chromeo, Chvrches, Against Me!, Half Moon Run, Band of Horses, Pusha T, HAIM, SBTRKT, Sam Roberts Band, Gogol Bordello, the Glitch Mob, Cut Copy, Chance the Rapper, Portugal. The Man, Volcano Choir, Jon Hopkins, Danny Brown, Ryan Hemsworth, Matt Mays, Joey Bada$$, Mac DeMarco, Basia Bulat, !!!, Laurent Garnier, July Talk, Kate Nash, Royal Canoe, Chase & Status, AWOLNATION, Kodaline, the Temper Trap, Jagwar Ma, the 1975, Tiga, AFI, Hey Rosetta!, Serena Ryder, White Denim, Hospitality, the Dismemberment Plan, Kevin Drew and more.

Standard festival passes cost $250, while a Gold Festival Pass (with access to a viewing platform, private washrooms and exclusive food and beverages) is $550. The General Admission Experience Pass is $950.

Those who buy a pass with get an RFID bracelet. An announcement promises, "With this bracelet and the return of Osheaga Play, fans will have access to many surprises before and during the festival." More information will be confirmed when the bracelets are delivered a few months before the festival.

In addition to passes, Osheaga is selling some travel packages for out-of-towners. There are also limited-edition silkscreen posters, plus T-shirts, while supplies last.

Of course, some folks have already won posters — and one lucky winner has been given a festival pass — by participating in the aforementioned mural guessing contest.
