Montreal's Osheaga festival has already announced a stacked lineup featuring the Flaming Lips, Eminem, Broken Social Scene, Death Cab for Cutie, the Tragically Hip, Death From Above 1979, and many more. Well, the festival just got even sweeter, as the organizers have announced the artists that will be playing this year's Osheaga in the City, which will host such acts as James Murphy's Special Disco Version, the Glitch Mob and Grimes.
As the name implies, Osheaga in the City is a concert series that will go down in various venues around Montreal. Taking place from July 27 to 30, it will run up to and alongside the festival proper, which goes from July 29 to 31 at Parc Jean-Drapeau.
The Osheaga in the City lineup is rounded out by Phantogram, Com Truise, Pat Jordache, Gobble Gobble and Freedom or Death. Of course, the real draw is Special Disco Version, a DJ act consisting of LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy and Pat Mahoney. See the schedule below and head to Osheaga's website for more information.
