Orange Juice's First Four Albums Treated to Another Round of Reissues

BY Josiah HughesPublished Dec 18, 2013

Back in 2010, Scottish indie-pop outfit Orange Juice were celebrated with a comprehensive box set. If you'd prefer to buy their albums one at a time, however, you'll soon be able to.

Domino Records is gearing up to once again reissue the band's first four LPs on CD and vinyl. These include 1982's You Can't Hide Your Love Forever, 1982's Rip It Up, 1984's Texas Forever and 1984's The Orange Juice.

With the Coals to Newcastle box set "way out-of-print," these reissues will "represent the only existing physical version of the albums available at this juncture." As fans likely remember, though, all four of the albums were given vinyl reissues in April for Record Store Day.

The reissues are straightforward reproductions of the original releases. In other words, there are no bonus tracks or expanded artwork.

Domino will release all four albums on February 3.
