Published Jul 07, 2015Vancouver-via-Abbotsford pop punk heroes Open Letters are currently hard at work on their debut full-length 10-23. Before the album arrives in full, they've given us a taste of the release with a brand new music video.
The new track is called "It's Cool But Unfun Already Did It," though it doesn't really sound anything like Unfun. Instead, it offers more of Open Letters' belted-out vocals and guttural hardcore growls across three-and-a-half minutes of frantic pop punk.
The accompanying video takes the VHS aesthetic to new levels of authenticity, utilizing real footage of the band's members as they practice skate tricks and hit the lake.
Shred along to the video for "It's Cool But Unfun Already Did It" below. 10-23 will arrive on August 14 via Kingfisher Bluez/Gipper Tore. The album's arrival will be celebrated with a release show at Vancouver's 333 with Woolworm and Dead Soft. Details of that show are available here.
