Last month, we learned that ethereal vocal manipulator Julianna Barwick had teamed up with multi-instrumentalist Helado Negro for their new band, Ombre. Right when the duo's debut Believe in Me was announced, the pair also premiered new number "Cara Falsa." If you haven't already given it a listen, you can now check it out in a new video.
The video plays both chill and celebratory, offering up a few minutes worth of slow-motion fireworks explosions. The dripping streaks of light are a perfect match for the soundtrack, which places Barwick's reverb-heavy, new-age coo with a cyclical tribal beat and textured keys and guitars. The whole package is a soother, for sure.
