Old Wounds Sign to Good Fight Music, Announce 'Death Projection' 7-Inch

BY Bradley Zorgdrager Published Jun 24, 2014

Following a series of releases on various labels, Old Wounds are set to inflict some fresh wounds in a new partnership with Good Fight Music. Their newest ally will release the Death Projection 7-inch EP on September 16, with their sophomore full-length following in the spring/summer of 2015.

The new signing was fated to happen. The signing announcement states, "The partnership of Good Fight and Old Wounds is perhaps a perfect match — both entities rooted in New Jersey hardcore, both driven by a tenacious DIY ethic." An accompanying video announcement, which can be seen below, summarizes the details and contains an auditory accompaniment.

The EP will contain four new songs. Although details are currently scant, you can expect something as high-quality as their most recent track, "It Can't Rain All the Time."

The Jersey boys have previously released music via Melotov Records (a split with Trenchfoot) and Glory Kid (From Where We Came Is Where We'll Rest). You can hear both of these releases via their Bandcamp below.
