It's been a hot minute since we've heard from Old Man Luedecke, and it turns out that time's been spent on a scallop boat and in the studio working with Afie Jurvanen of Bahamas.
Today, Luedecke has shared the first new song from his time spent kickin' it with scallops and Jurvanen, "My Status Is the Baddest," which sees Luedecke dropping his signature banjo for a joyful complaint about the trials of parenthood. Over the track's cheery gait, Luedecke tries "to sort out whether the high road of parenting is espionage against the true nature of the beast."
