The kids in Ohbijou are having themselves quite a summer; along with releasing their sophomore record Beacons and landing the August cover of this very magazine, the second edition of their Friends in Bellwoods charity compilation series arrives next Tuesday, August 25.
Featuring an eclectic mix of Toronto bands - including Great Lake Swimmers, Sebastien Grainger and the Rural Alberta Advantage, among many others - the series seeks to capture Ohbijou's musical friends and associates who pass through their Bellwoods Ave practice space in Toronto. Best of all, the proceeds go to Toronto's Daily Bread Food Bank.
