As recently reported, Oh Susanna is headed back our way with a new album. Namedropper features songs written specifically for the project by a selection of esteemed Canadian songwriters, and the vocalist also known as Suzie Ungerleider will be promoting the upcoming album with a Canadian fall tour.

The trek will take place later this fall. Starting in the second half of October, Oh Susanna will start things off in Ontario and make her way to the West Coast by mid-November. All told, she has nine shows booked.

The October 30 show in Ottawa is particularly special. It's dubbed "All in a Day Songwriters Night: The Namedropper Extravaganza!" Curated by CBC radio personality Alan Neal, this Ottawa International Writers Festival event is themed around Namedropper and will feature Oh Susanna, along with album contributors Jim Bryson, Amelia Curran, Ron Sexsmith, Joel Plaskett and Whitehorse.
