OFF! Working on Sophomore LP for Reported Spring Release

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jan 2, 2012

In 2010, hardcore supergroup OFF! released their debut album and earned our Mark of Excellence in the process. We're understandably excited to report, therefore, that the band will soon be releasing album number two.

Prefix notes that, in a new email to fans, the band announced that they're currently writing and recording a new album. Not much is currently known about the collection, but it's reportedly coming out in the spring, so we've only got a few months to wait.

In case that wasn't enough of a reason to think that this year is going to be a stellar one for followers of the band, OFF! also shared a picture of frontman Keith Morris (of Circle Jerks/Black Flag fame) holding up a sign telling fans, "Happy new year! 2012 is going to be amazing!" We're convinced. That picture is above.

Stay tuned for more updates about the forthcoming sophomore LP.
