Of Montreal Compile Albums and Rarities on Digital Box Set

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jan 13, 2011

Earlier this week, we reported that sex-crazed weird pop collective Of Montreal were gearing up to release a new EP called The Controller Sphere and were in the writing stages of a follow-up to 2010's False Priest. With that much new material on the horizon, frontman Kevin Barnes is feeling generous with the band's back catalogue, offering it up in a well-priced "digital box set."

The set is called Ambivalent Stumbling Hysterical Dispatches, Strictly in Unisex and includes MP3s for the albums False Priest, Skeletal Lamping, Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?, The Sunlandic Twins and Satanic Panic in the Attic, alongside 27 bonus tracks, ten music videos and a digital booklet. The whole set adds up to 107 files and can be purchased for the low, low price of $39.99 over at iTunes.

As previously mentioned, Of Montreal will be bringing their freaky live show to venues across North America. All dates, including Canadian stops in Montreal and Toronto, are available here.
