Odonis Odonis Announce North American 'Hollandaze' Dates

Last month, we learned that Toronto-based noise poppers Odonis Odonis would be delivering their full-length debut Hollandaze this November via a number of labels. National imprints Daps, Buzz and Pleasence will release the album on CD, tape and vinyl, respectively, while the esteemed Fat Cat label will handle the release outside of Canada. With the record's November 7 release date creeping up, the outfit have now decided to take the tunes on the road.

Odonis Odonis will take off on an East Coast trip shortly before the release of Hollandaze, with the first gig taking place October 28 at Brooklyn, NY's Shea Stadium. The band then spends roughly two weeks in the U.S. before hitting up a spate of Ontario-area dates. You can check the schedule below. Odonis Odonis will be joined on the trip by Moon King.

While we're still waiting for the release of Hollandaze, a press release also confirms earlier reports that the group's follow-up will arrive in spring 2012. Titled Soft Boiled Hard Boiled, the record was captured and "moulded" by Colin Stewart (Black Mountain) and wife Kathryn Calder (the New Pornographers). Neither a release date nor a tracklisting have been released thus far, however.
