Oasis Planning A Five-Year Hiatus?

When Brit-rock instigators Oasis reunited for last year's Dig Out Your Soul, it was only a matter of time before things fell apart, again. Besides starting beefs with everyone from Jay-Z to Radiohead, the pot was stirred further when Noel Gallagher was attacked at Toronto's V-Fest. Now it appears the band might be taking a five-year hiatus.

In a recent interview with Q Magazine, Gallagher said, "By the time we make another record we'll be five years older," going on to explain that he'll instead be focusing on a new solo record. It's also very possible that his rocky relationship with brother Liam is a major part of the problem, as Gallagher says, "[Liam is] rude, arrogant, intimidating, and lazy. He's the angriest man you'll ever meet. He's like a man with a fork in a world of soup."

Hopefully the break will give Liam some time to work on his new clothing line.
