Oasis Now Not Breaking Up, Still Hate Each Other

Last week, we reported that Oasis were planning a five-year hiatus. The news was based on some sharp shit-talking front-man Noel Gallagher had been doing with Q Magazine, in which he essentially slagged-off his brother Liam and said he'd much rather work on his solo album.

According to Liam Gallagher, however, this behaviour is just a part of being in a band with Noel and shouldn't be taken too seriously. In an interview with Yahoo! News, the other brother admitted that things haven't gotten better with Noel but they certainly haven't gotten worse. "He likes Oasis and I like Oasis, so I'm not leaving and he's not leaving, so we gotta do it, but we don't get on, so I can't be assed, man. He's different and I'm different. We've done well, 15 years at it - 15 years of having problems together. We've done pretty well... I think the minute we start getting happy and holding hands and being like other bands then I think it'll be over. This is the tension; it's like he wants to outdo me and I want to outdo him."

And so the Oasis saga continues for another gossip- and hate-filled week. Tune in next week to find out who the brothers Gallagher target next.
