Oasis Gather Rarities for Remastered and Expanded Reissue of '(What's the Story) Morning Glory?'
Brawling Britpop brothers Oasis recently reissued their 1994 album Definitely Maybe, and they will now offer up similar treatment to their 1995 follow-up (What's the Story) Morning Glory? The deluxe reissue will be out in the UK on September 29 (with the North American release presumably following the next day).

The album has been remastered and will be available in a few different versions. Deluxe triple-CD and digital versions of the LP will add a heap of rarities, studio B-sides, demos and live cuts from the era. There are 28 extra cuts, in addition to the original 12-track album. There will also be a standard double-LP pressing.

Furthermore, there's a deluxe box set containing both the CD and vinyl versions of the album, plus a 56-page hardback book, a replica of a promo 12-inch, a demo 7-inch, a replica promo cassette, and exclusive merch. Those who order through the band's online store will get a replica of the "Some Might Say" 12-inch. You can also see what the box looks like above.

For thrifty buyers, the remastered album will also be available in standard CD or digital versions. Peruse all the options here.

Also, you can listen to a previously unreleased demo of "Bonehead's Bank Holiday" below courtesy of the Guardian.

We're guessing that singer Liam Gallagher isn't too happy about the (What's the Story) Morning Glory? reissue, since he told fans not to buy the retouched version of Definitely Maybe.
