Long-running Toronto festival North by Northeast is set to bring a host of live performances to the Port Lands for the second consecutive year, and organizers have revealed the first batch of artists who will take the outdoor stage at the fest on June 23 to 25.

Topping the bill are Odd Future icon Tyler, the Creator, "White Iverson" MC Post Malone and indie-pop outfit Passion Pit.

Other acts set to perform at the Port Lands include Bleachers, Sleigh Bells, the Soul Rebels featuring Talib Kweli, Twin Peaks, Cold Specks, MUNA and Son Little. A press release reveals that a second round of performers will be announced in early April.

"The team at NXNE is driven by its passion for music and pop culture and it's what drives us to bring Torontonians the most dynamic and innovative programming possible," NXNE president and managing director Michael Hollett said in a statement. "This year's Port Lands lineup will light up our stages with the most diverse voices in music today."

This year's Port Lands portion of the festival will also feature a comedy tent, midway carnival rides and games, art installations and more.

NXNE is set to take place from June 16 to 25 in Toronto, with further programming announcements to be made in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on the festival's official website for further details.
