Notta Comet

"Goon Glang" (video)

Earlier this year, Montreal outfit Notta Comet dropped their latest EP Embankments and now the opening track off that release has been given the video treatment.

"Goon Glang" is an explosion of angular riffs and energetic, off-kilter rhythms and the quirky song has now been matched with some equally eccentric visuals. The clip is the brainchild of director Max Taeuschel, who has helped make videos for other local acts like Ought and Look Vibrant.

Combining performance footage with an array of fun absurdist imagery and special effects, the clip is a colourful one that adds an extra layer of intrigue to the already captivating tune.

The band will be playing what will be their last show for a long time ("maybe ever") on May 28 in Montreal. The venue has yet to be announced, but you can keep the memory of Notta Comet alive and strong by watching the video for "Goon Glang" below.
