As previously reported, Toronto hip-hop crew Notes to Self are set to drop their Target Market [Recoil] LP on February 26 through Decon Records/eOne Music Canada, but you don't have to wait for the street date to hear the 12-song set. A full album stream is now available courtesy of Exclaim.ca.
In addition to the extremely positive and previously teased tune "Sky Light (InBetween)," a press release explains that highly dexterous vocalists Swamp Donkey and Roshin, as well as producer/rapper Bronze One, "trade verses with the adeptness of seasoned vets" atop beats "nailed down with tremendous low-end," while turntablist DJ Dopey does his thing throughout.
In addition to the group proper, California rapper Fashawn shows up for the album's "Mr. Polite," while Windsor, ON's Lee Gaul offers an assist on "Used to be Dark."
