Norma Jean, Every Time I Die, Dead and Divine Members Form Hundred Suns
After assaulting metal and hardcore audiences with their respective bands for years, members of Norma Jean, Every Time I Die and Dead and Divine have teamed up as a new force called Hundred Suns.

A press release notes that the project comprises current Norma Jean vocalist Cory Brandan, former Every Time I Die drummer Ryan Leger and Chris LeMasters, one-time guitarist for since-expired Canadian metalcore crew Dead and Divine. Hundred Suns apparently started playing together in 2013 but have only just now released a snippet of music.

It's unclear what the outfit's first official release will be, but something will apparently be released next year. For the time being, you can sample the chunky riffs of an as-yet-unidentified sneak peek down below, courtesy of Revolver.

"It's definitely been important to us that the standard of music we create aligns with the emotion of the content behind it," Brandan said in a statement. "From lyrics to sound, it all has to make sense. We don't want to just make a song that we can lose our minds to. We want to insert a mood that wasn't in the room previously. They're equally important qualities."

Brandan has been singing for Georgia state outfit Norma Jean since 2004. After six years spent behind the kit with Every Time I Die, Leger departed the Buffalo veterans earlier this year. And LeMasters is a founding member of Dead and Divine, who called it quits in 2012 after nearly 10 years together.
