NOFX will play their classic 1994 album Punk In Drublic in its entirety when they headline a show at the Red Rock Amphitheatre in Colorado on August 22. The show has been scheduled to coincide with the Democratic National Convention, which kicks off that week in Denver.
The band announced on their MySpace page that "to celebrate Barack 'Punk Rock' Obamas nomination, NOFX will perform Punk in Drublic in its entirety and in order. Side Note: Fat Mike is pretty sure he is on Baracks VP shortlist. Keep yer fingers crossed everybody!
The gig will also feature the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Bouncing Souls.
It has also been announced that NOFX will be playing shows in Toronto at the Kool Haus on October 8 and 9, and at Montreal's Metropolis on October 10 and 12.
