NOFX Announce 'The Decline' Live DVD

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jul 25, 2012

If pop punk's ever had its own Godspeed You! Black Emperor moment, it'd definitely have to be NOFX's sprawling, hyper-political 18-minute anthem The Decline. And while the 1999 EP still holds its own all these years later, it's even more of a treat when the band play it live.

Fortunately, that's something we'll all be able to enjoy from the comforts of our own home, as NOFX have just announced a live DVD performance of The Decline. Details on the release are scarce, but reports indicate that it will only be available for a limited time.

The release will be available from Fat Wreck on September 12 and can be pre-ordered here. For those keeping track, that's exactly one day after the band releases their upcoming new studio album Self Entitled.

They were also kind enough to release the tracklisting for the DVD, which simply reads "The Decline."
