Nobody Noticed Justin Bieber Catching Pokémon Because They Were Too Busy Staring at Their Own Phones

The benefits of Pokémon Go just keep piling up. In addition to providing hours of stupid nostalgic fun for grown-ass adults, unwittingly making gamers exercise and generally speeding up the process of natural selection, the massively popular mobile game has now also torn down the barrier between the world's biggest pop star and the normal Pokémon-hunting people of New York.

In a video recently uploaded by Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, the singer can be seen running through the streets of New York in search of Pikachu and co. — going totally unnoticed by the throngs of other people also glued to their phone screens.

It's extra hilarious given the over-the-top reactions usually spawned by chance meetings with the singer.

High-profile Hollywood bodyguards might be hurting for work as long as the Pokémon Go craze continues to sweep the globe, but the rest of us can spruce up the monotony of 9 to 5 life by watching the viral video of Biebs catching them all below. (And if Biebs' pal Alfredo Flores is to be believed, the mission was pretty successful.)
