Calgary group No Problem Fuck Everything describe themselves as "pop-punk your older cousin would really dig," and that's fairly apt. On their brand new 7-inch, they touch on the gritty sing-alongs inspired by Jawbreaker and the bands that won us over before "emo" was a bad word.
Called Pretty Shitty, the EP crams seven songs onto just as many inches of vinyl. The record closes out with a track that also serves as the band's mission statement. Called "Poverty, Anxiety, My Girlfriend and Jawbreaker," there's no denying that true pop-punk heads will relate to this song.
Listen to No Problem Fuck Everything's Pretty Shitty 7-inch below. The band will celebrate its arrival with a show at Calgary's Ship and Anchor tonight (January 27). More information on that event is available here.
