Nirvana's Legendary Reading Festival Performance Coming to DVD

Besides the obvious stream of content flowing from Dave Grohl's busy hands and the new Flipper album with Krist Novoselic on bass there doesn't seem to be much left in the Nirvana vault, other than some vinyl reissues. Though it was earlier reported that there is absolutely nothing new to expect from the band, well, ever, fans can rejoice, as one of Nirvana's most famous gigs is coming down the pipe on May 4. Life Takes No Prisoners is a live DVD documenting the band's legendary headlining set at the Reading Festival in 1992.

The performance is one of the band's more memorable, as Kurt Cobain took the stage in a wheelchair and hospital robe (as pictured above). The band played 27 songs, including covers of "More Than A Feeling" by Boston, "The Money Will Roll Right In" by Fang, and patriotic classic "Star Spangled Banner," as well as many expected classics.
