Nirvana have been compiling rarities for the hugely expanded reissue of their classic 1993 album In Utero (due out September 24 through Universal), and now we've got a taste of this extra material via a director's cut of the video "Heart-Shaped Box."
The video was directed by Anton Corbijn, and this edit isn't too radical a change from the tone of original clip, since it features more of Jesus on the cross, the little girl in the white robe, the woman in the body suit, and Nirvana performing in a red-skied fantasy land. The bulk of the changes occur in the third verse, so keep your eyes peeled and see how many differences you can spot. The original version is at the bottom of the page.
