NINTV? Nine Inch Nails To Take Year Zero To Television?

BY Cam LindsayPublished Aug 15, 2007

Blabbermouth.net is reporting that Nine Inch Nails are in talks to develop their most recent album Year Zero into a television series.

Front-man Trent Reznor discussed the project with a UK newspaper, saying "We've got a producer on board and have met with writers. We're about to pitch it to the network, so we're a couple of weeks away from meeting all of the main people, and we'll see what happens."

The album presents a dystopian future, telling what events could unfold in 15 years. As with any of Reznor's work, it's not pretty; his imagination paints a picture of a totalitarian state ruled by right-wing religious nuts. So, wouldn't that just be like watching CNN?

Reznor has also admitted before that he would be interested in turning Year Zero into a feature film as well. Well, which is it Trent?
