If you're in the market for a piece of music history, Kurt Cobain's childhood home just went on sale for a price tag of $500,000. But if your budget for sweet, sweet music isn't quite that high, why not just check out the next concert headed your way? In another Can't Miss Concerts, we've done the legwork and highlighted just a few of the excellent shows coming to cities across Canada from October 3-9.

Austra

Operatic synth-pop outfit Austra, who graced our cover back in the summer, have hit the road in support of their excellent sophomore release Olympia. On their way across North America and Europe, the Toronto band will stop off in Winnipeg and Calgary for a pair of October dates.

Cancer Bats

As part of their Double Headed Bat Madness North American tour, Toronto punks Cancer bats are making their way east across the prairies, hitting a number of cites in Alberta and Saskatchewan along the way. Expect a very odd concert experience as the band will be accompanied at these shows by their own alter ego, Bat Sabbath.

10/7 Regina, SK - The Exchange

Nine Inch Nails

Industrial-rock pioneers Nine Inch Nails recently made a very welcome return to music-making with their eighth full-length album, Hesitation Marks. Trent Reznor and co. are now in the midst of their "Tension: 2013" tour, which includes upcoming stops in Montreal and Toronto.

Rose Cousins

Juno Award-winning songstress Rose Cousins brings her maritime pop folk westward for a pair of early October gigs in Vancouver and Winnipeg.

Wu-Tang Clan

Finally, in the lead-up to the 20th anniversary of their highly influential debut Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), the Wu-Tang Clan are headed to Montreal. Though the long-awaited A Better Tomorrow is yet to have a solid release date, expect to hear some new material from the Staten Island crew at Montreal's L'Olympia.
