Nine Inch Nails to Auction Off Gear on eBay

Earlier this year, when Nine Inch Nails front-man Trent Reznor announced that his group were going to stop touring, no one really believed him. After all, this is the same man who quit Twitter, then rejoined, then quit again. Then rejoined again.

But this time, Reznor appears determined to stay true to his word that NIN's show on September 10 was their last ever. To make it official, the band have now announced that they will be selling their gear on eBay.

According to a post on nin.com, they will be putting hundreds of items up for auction in the near future, including "guitars, keyboards, amplifiers, drums, staging, anvil cases, cables, rack/outboard gear, guitar effects, and pedal boards." The equipment will not be signed, and in most cases they don't know which tour each item was used on. Nevertheless, this is a chance for fans to score the ultimate piece of NIN memorabilia.

In addition to this musical gear, they'll also be selling off old tour merch via their online store.
