It was certainly a pleasant surprise to find that promoters Just Entertainment brought a lot of positive, political hip-hop to CMW with their three separate showcases. Least known of these artists was N.I.F.T.Y. (Nubian Intelligence from the Yahweh), who got the Pharoahe Monch show started right with a polished performance combining banging beats and a positive, uplifting message. It was further proof, if any was needed, that N.I.F.T.Y. deserved to win Just Entertainments 2005 Demo Showcase.
