Nicki Minaj Tells Ellen She Wasn't Mad at Travis Scott, She Just "Wanted to Punch Him in His Fucking Face"
Nicki Minaj caught flak when she blamed Travis Scott for taking the No. 1 spot away from her latest album Queen, accusing the rapper of unfairly using merch bundles, concert tickets and his famous girlfriend to drive sales.

Despite a slew of inflammatory episodes of her Queen Radio show on Beats 1, Minaj still isn't done with Scott, though. She appeared on Ellen yesterday (September 3), and Ellen DeGeneres asked the rap star about the chart competition.

"When you were No. 2 behind Travis Scott, it seemed like you got upset about that," DeGeneres said.

Minaj responded, arguing that she was just saying how she felt, but she wasn't necessarily angry or upset.

So, when DeGeneres asked her how she was actually feeling, the rapper said, "I felt like I wanted to punch him in his fucking face."

Minaj went on to explain that it wasn't out of anger, but rather a sense of injustice at the tactics Scott has deployed.

"I've had a No. 2 album, and I never cared," Minaj added. "It's just when you have a No. 2 album to someone who's selling shirts and merch and selling passes for a tour that's not even announced yet, it feels like you're being tricked. It feels like someone is playing a game and beating you at a game as opposed to just selling music. I wanna sell music."

She also discussed her past relationships, including the one with Meek Mill, and performed a string of hits from Queen.
