Published Nov 22, 2011Since releasing her debut album Pink Friday in 2010, flamboyantly dressed rap lady Nicki Minaj has become a superstar. With that in mind, there's much anticipation for her sophomore effort. Thankfully, she took to Twitter to reveal the details for the project.
According to Tweets posted tonight (November 22), her next album will be called Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, and will be released on February 14, 2012 (Valentine's Day, obvs). As the title would suggest, the album will likely include much of Minaj's Roman Zolanski alter-ego.
Of course, there's still plenty of room for skepticism. For one thing, almost every single rap album that gets released these days is delayed by at least a month. Aside from that, there's also the album title, which has us skeptical that this will be some kind of expanded version of her debut. Then again, Minaj is a workhorse in the studio, and there's no doubt that she's sitting on a bunch of new material.
Only time will tell. For now, we know it's Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded on February 14 via Young Money.
