Nickelback enraged football fans earlier this month when it was announced they'd be playing the halftime show during today's (November 24) Detroit Lions/Green Bay Packers game, but all that petitioning was for naught -- the band's performance went off as scheduled.
All things considered, it was a pretty average halftime performance, with the band trotting out the soft-rockin' "When We Stand Together" to a group of fans decked out in Lions gear gleefully clapping along. Almost too gleefully.
Check this, though: Chad Kroeger cut his hair! Dude no longer rocks that king of the jungle-approved mane. We'll be keeping a keen eye on those Here and Now sales to see if those bleached tresses gave him Samsonesque powers over the last decade.
