Nick Cave Crashes Jaguar into Speed Camera

Proving once again that Nick Cave is showing no signs of slowing down, the Grinderman and Bad Seeds singer wrecked his car last night (December 7). The BBC reports that the 53-year-old singer crashed his Jaguar into a road barrier and a speed camera on Tuesday in Hove, England. The musician, a resident of the area, was driving his twin 10-year-old sons at the time. Apparently, no one was hurt in the accident and no other cars were involved.

While the BBC reports that Sussex police have made no arrests, investigations are still pending.

"The camera belongs to the Sussex Safer Roads Partnership, not the police, and the railings belong to the local highway authority," Sussex police said in a statement. "Both agencies were informed. Nobody has been arrested but police inquiries are continuing."

A spokesperson for Cave refused to comment on the incident.
