Nguzunguzu Ready 'Skycell' EP for Fade to Mind, Premiere New Track

Asma Maroof and Daniel Pineda, the two members who comprise Los Angeles duo Nguzunguzu (pronounced "en-goo-zoo-en-goo-zoo"), have done well for themselves considering their nearly impossible to pronounce or spell moniker. They'll now continue their rise with a new EP.

Given the much easier to spell title of Skycell, the new EP offers seven new songs from the band.

According to a press release, "The songs of Skycell are built from air bursts, glimmering chimes, sunken bass, metallic scrapes, and industrial crashes. As the tension looms you begin to realize you are in an elevated jail cell with no bars, where your only escape is to free fall to your demise."

Skycell will be available on November 5 digitally, with a physical release coming on November 19. The EP comes courtesy of the reliable Fade to Mind imprint.

For now, you can listen to EP track "Mecha" below.

Skycell:

1. Foam Feathers
2. Harp Bell
3. Vision of Completion
4. Break In
5. Tumultuous
6. Mecha
7. Skycell
