New Order Set Official Release Date for 'Lost Sirens'

New Order Set Official Release Date for 'Lost Sirens'
New Order originally planned to release their Lost Sirens outtakes album last December, and the disc was then reportedly delayed to March. The collection still hasn't emerged, but, barring any furthers delays, that will finally change on January 22 courtesy of Rhino/Warner.

These eight songs and mixes were originally created for 2005's Waiting for the Sirens' Call but never saw the light of day. Former bassist Peter Hook told Exclaim! about these tracks more than a year ago, but their release has been postponed due to apparent legal disagreements between the four-stringer and his reunited bandmates.

The collection includes an unreleased mix of the Waiting for the Sirens' Call cut "I Told You So," plus the original edit of the compilation track "Hellbent." These appear along with six unheard songs.

Lost Sirens:

1. I'll Stay with You

2. Sugarcane

3. Recoil

4. Californian Grass

5. Hellbent

6. Shake It Up

7. I've Got a Feeling

8. I Told You So
