New Order

"Love Will Tear Us Apart" / "Transmission" / "Californian Grass" (ft. Iggy Pop) (live videos)

Last night (March 11) was the 24th annual Tibet House U.S. Benefit Concert at New York's Carnegie Hall, and New Order and Iggy Pop made the night extra special by teaming up for a couple of tunes.

Iggy Pop shared vocal duties with Bernard Sumner on a version of Joy Division's classic "Love Will Tear Us Apart." As you can see below, Iggy played a fairly small role, mostly just hanging at the back and chiming in during the choruses.

He also took over lead vocals on New Order's Lost Sirens cut "Californian Grass" and helped out with the Joy Division classic "Transmission."

Watch fan-shot footage of these songs below; unfortunately, the clip for "Transmission" is less than a minute long and appears to have been filmed from the back of the theatre, but the other two videos are of fairly high quality.
