New Found Glory Announce 'Kill It Live' Concert Set

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jul 9, 2013

Florida pop-punk diehards New Found Glory haven't yet announced plans for the studio follow-up their 2011 LP Radiosurgery, but the long-running group have revealed that they're about to issue their first-ever live album. Titled Kill It Live, the record comes out October 8 through Bridge 9/Violently Happy.

A press release explains that the concert set compiles recordings captured at two sold-out shows at Southern California's Chain Reaction venue last March. In addition to the 17-song performance, Kill It Live also includes three new studio recordings ("I Want to Believe," "Connect the Dots," "First Bite') that were tracked by Paul Miner and mixed by Kyle Black. The press sheet hints that these new tunes "give the listener a taste of what's to come from the band very soon."

This is the second joint release between band member Chad Gilbert's Violently Happy imprint and Bridge 9. Earlier this year, the labels teamed up to issue New Found Glory's Ramones covers EP Mania.
