Roc-Sac

This EP from one-man band D. McNany cuts up rock and electronics. The guitars squeal and squelch, the vocals are sometimes filtered and the electronics throb and pulse. It’s equal parts Sonic Youth and Kid 606, perhaps in their less manic phases. The tracks are all quickly paced, and most are short, giving the whole project a brisk feel. The vocals can be a little nonsensical, but the music and beats more than make up for it. I would welcome a full-length.
