Neko Case Announces Tour Dates

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Jan 22, 2009

With the release of Neko Case's new full-length coming up quick, it only makes sense that the "honorary Canadian" has announced a batch of live dates.

Following a few European dates in February, Case has confirmed she will treat North America to some live action come spring, when she'll play Montreal April 16 and do a double-header in Toronto on April 17 and 18. The stops will be in support of her much-anticipated Middle Cyclone LP, which is due out via Anti- on March 3 and is her first album proper since 2006's Fox Confessor Brings the Flood.

As previously reported, you can currently get a taste of Middle Cyclone by way of first single "People Got a Lotta Nerve," which comes with some pro-animal charity attached as well. Until February 3, Case and Anti- will donate $5 to the animal rescue organization Best Friends Animal Society for every blogger who posts the song online and $1 for every iLike user who adds the song to his or her profile.
